Training Workshop on Promotion of sustainable agricultural production and processing in Binh Duong and Phu Yen provinces
In the past two days, August 10, 2022 and August 19, 2022, The project “Promotion of supply and demand of Eco-Fair Agri-food processing products in Vietnam” (Eco Fair Project) has coordinated cooperated with the Department of Economic Cooperation and Rural Development – Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to organize two (02) training seminars with the theme of Promotion of sustainable agricultural production and processing in Binh Duong and Phu Yen provinces. Participating in the training workshop were leaders and staff of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development of the two provinces, their branches and a number of local enterprises and cooperatives.
The training workshop’s goal is to: Improve the capacity of local officials and promote sustainable agricultural development; Improve the quality, value and efficiency of production and business, promote the production and processing of agricultural products; Enhance resource efficiency and circular production; Apply a sustainable agricultural product processing and production model to enhance the value of agricultural products through smart mobile agricultural product processing solutions; and Monitor and evaluate results oriented towards sustainable agricultural production and processing.
At the training workshop, the exchange of ideas on eco-fair, input energy saving production methods and efficient use of resources, JEVA technology… were discussed very enthusiastically. The workshop was highly appreciated and received positive feedback from local officials. The participants were all excited, looking forward to the cooperation between the project and the province next after the event.
