Launching the first online course

From October 1, 2020. The project ” Promotion of supply and demand of Eco-fair agri-food processing products in Vietnam ” is pleased to announce that the Training on Sustainable Production officially started from October 1,2020.

As one of the key activities of the project to assist MSMEs in the agro-processing industry to implement eco-fair practices, contributing to their sustainable development strategy, Online mobile courses on capacity building for 1,000 agricultural product processing enterprises in four sub-sectors: rice, cashew, processed vegetables, processed fruits will cover the following topics:

  • Resource efficient use and cleaner production (RECP)

This component helps businesses self-assess, check and identify the waste of energy, water, and materials that exist in daily production to find solutions to save costs. , enhancing profitability as well as meeting sustainable production requirements from customers.

  • Innovating technology and products

This component helps businesses with the knowledge to develop product innovation strategies as well as specific steps in product creation in a more sustainable, efficient and more competitive way.

  • Sustainable certificate (ecological, fair …)

This component helps businesses know about all kinds of eco-fair certification in Vietnam and around the world such as organic certification, eco-label, fair trade, etc.

The course is completely free and can be learned anywhere, anytime, on smart phone or computer. After this training course, businesses will be selected to participate in the next activities of the project such as in-house consulting to support RECP implementation, product creation, voluntary certification and marketing, access to green finance, etc.
